These terms govern the Time Overlay Creator Pack v1 (the “Creator Pack”), sold by Pocket Tools Inc. (“Pocket Tools,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through https://timeoverlay.co. By purchasing, activating, or using the Creator Pack, the purchaser (“you”) agrees to these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase, activate, or use the Creator Pack.

1. What you receive

After confirmed payment, Pocket Tools grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to:

- use the 12 Creator Pack v1 overlay templates;
- use the format-aware Editor-ready packaging, manifest, and commercial-license file;
- create rendered visual or audiovisual outputs with the Creator Pack; and
- use those rendered outputs in personal and commercial work as described below.

The license is a one-time purchase for Creator Pack v1. It does not include ownership of the Creator Pack, all future Time Overlay products, future major packs, custom work, cloud storage, or future paid services. The existing free PNG ZIP already includes ProRes conversion scripts and instructions; those scripts remain free and are not a paid-exclusive benefit.

2. Permitted use

You may use rendered outputs created with the Creator Pack in:

- personal videos, livestreams, recordings, and social content;
- monetized videos, channels, livestreams, broadcasts, advertisements, and promotional content;
- films, documentaries, podcasts, courses, presentations, games, and event media; and
- work created for clients, provided the client receives only the rendered output or a finished project deliverable and not the Creator Pack itself.

You may edit, combine, crop, color-adjust, composite, and otherwise adapt rendered outputs as part of a larger project. You may charge clients for your creative services and finished deliverables.

3. Prohibited use

You may not:

- sell, resell, sublicense, redistribute, upload, publish, share, or give away the Creator Pack or any substantial part of it;
- share or transfer your license key, purchase-email credentials, entitlement token, paid template definitions, or paid-only package contents;
- make the Creator Pack available in a template library, stock-asset collection, download service, source-code repository, marketplace, software product, website builder, or other service where another person can extract or reuse it;
- claim that you created or own the Creator Pack itself;
- remove or bypass access controls, or use one purchase to provide access to more people than this license permits;
- use the Creator Pack in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights; or
- use a rendered output as a standalone stock asset whose primary value is the reusable overlay itself rather than a finished creative work.

These restrictions do not prevent you from delivering ordinary flattened or rendered client work that contains a Creator Pack output.

4. Purchase email and device activations

Your license is bound to the email used for the Stripe Checkout purchase. Activation and recovery require that email together with the license key.

The license may be active on up to three browser installations at one time. A browser installation is identified by a randomly generated local installation ID; Time Overlay does not require hardware fingerprinting for activation. Clearing browser storage, using a different browser profile, or changing devices may create a new installation and may use another activation.

You may deactivate the current installation from the license page. If you lose access to old installations, contact hi@timeoverlay.co for support. A license-key reset or full activation reset is not guaranteed and may require purchase verification.

5. Duration

The Creator Pack v1 license does not expire while it remains valid under these terms. Online validation uses a signed entitlement with a 24-hour lifetime and no offline grace period. Temporary validation failure does not affect the free Time Overlay generator. Paid access may be temporarily unavailable after an entitlement expires until validation succeeds.

6. Refunds, disputes, and revocation

You may request a full refund within seven calendar days after purchase by emailing hi@timeoverlay.co. Creator Pack v1 does not offer a customer-facing partial-refund option.

A full refund revokes the Creator Pack license and all active entitlements. Opening a payment dispute suspends paid access while the dispute is pending. Access may be restored if the dispute is withdrawn or resolved in your favor, and may be permanently revoked if the dispute is lost.

If Stripe reports a full-amount refund as pending or requiring action, paid access may be temporarily suspended until Stripe confirms the refund’s current result. A failed or canceled refund does not itself revoke the license; access is restored when no other authoritative refund, dispute, fraud, or breach state requires suspension.

Pocket Tools may suspend or revoke a license if we reasonably determine that the purchase was fraudulent, reversed, refunded, disputed, shared, or used in material breach of these terms. Revocation never removes access to the free Time Overlay generator or the purchaser’s own already-rendered project files.

Nothing in this section limits refund, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Ownership

Pocket Tools and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in Time Overlay, the Creator Pack, template definitions, scripts, documentation, design elements, trademarks, and related software. You retain rights in your own original content and finished projects, subject to the license for Creator Pack elements contained in them.

Purchasing the Creator Pack grants a license, not a sale or assignment of intellectual-property rights in the Creator Pack itself.

8. Third-party tools and formats

The existing free PNG workflow may provide scripts or instructions for use with FFmpeg or other third-party software. Those scripts are not a paid-exclusive Creator Pack benefit. Third-party software is supplied and licensed by its respective owner and may have separate terms. The browser does not directly create a ProRes MOV unless a generated file explicitly says otherwise. You are responsible for installing and running third-party tools and for confirming that your output meets your editor or platform requirements.

9. Service availability and practical access controls

Time Overlay is a browser-based product. Device capabilities, browser support, storage, network availability, and third-party services can affect operation. We do not promise that browser-shipped template code is impossible to inspect or copy, and practical access controls are not a guarantee against unauthorized copying.

We may maintain, secure, update, or discontinue online validation infrastructure. If a material change would prevent valid purchasers from using the licensed Creator Pack, Pocket Tools should provide a reasonable replacement, recovery path, or other remedy required by applicable law.

10. Warranties and liability

Subject to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Creator Pack is provided for creative production use without a promise that every browser, editor, codec, platform, or workflow will accept every output. Test outputs before relying on them in a live broadcast, deadline-critical delivery, or irreplaceable production.

11. Changes to these terms

Any future change will identify its effective date and version. A change will not retroactively remove the core non-expiring Creator Pack v1 rights already purchased, except where necessary to enforce these terms, prevent abuse, comply with law, or preserve security. Material changes will be communicated through a reasonable customer-facing channel.
